Wired Irish Crafts creates and shares the art of eco friendly candle making through sustainable, handcrafted products, operating from its studio in The Castle Yard in the heart of Kilkenny City.
Wired Irish Crafts candle studio was established in 2021 by Tracy and Douglas Higgins. The business focuses on developing and producing soy candles that address common issues found in traditional candles, such as tunnelling, fragrance loss and excess sooting. Each product is crafted using FSC certified wooden wicks, vegan fragrance oils and reusable vessels, reflecting the company’s strong commitment to sustainability and a zero waste ethos.
The studio provides in house Candle Making Experiences, sharing its knowledge with customers from around the world, while hand pouring each of its exquisite candles. Wired Irish Crafts is a proud member of the Design and Crafts Council Ireland (DCCI).
