The aim of the tour guide is to bring history alive by making it as fun and interesting as possible and answering any questions you might have. During the tour you will hear all about the prominence of Adare, how it became a major town and how it then declined before being rebuilt again by the Earls of Dunraven. You will hear about the churches, monasteries, castles, counts, courts and earls.

The guide is Fáilte Ireland approved with over 20 year’s experience in Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England. The walking tour is in English and available in German or Flemish/Dutch on request. Depending on the time available to participants and if desired the tour can be extended with no extra charge. Also available are guided walks of Rathkeale, Newcastle West, Ballingarry, Knockfierna or Limerick City.
