At Annemarie Bourke Studio Gallery, in O’Connell Street, Limerick City, Annemarie paints daily and runs workshops for aspiring artists.

Originally from Killaloe, County Clare, Annemarie spent her childhood on the shores of Lough Derg, sketching and painting. As a result she has a wonderful empathy with the Irish landscape. She paints in watercolour, oil, pastel and acrylic and covers a huge range of subject matter, including landscapes, seascapes, flowers, still-life and some abstract work.

The luxurious décor in the studio reflects Annemarie’s creative side. Browsers and clients are encouraged to spend time enjoying the variety of original works on display. Workshops take place in the studio. These are usually three day intensive courses, where students are encouraged to develop their skills and release the artist within.
