Ballyneety Golf Club in County Limerick, is an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Ryder Cup player Des Smyth and Irish Amateur International, Declan Branigan. It is a parkland golf course with sand based greens and tees all built to US PGA standards. It is located 10Km south of Limerick City on the R512 Kilmallock Road, with easy access to the city, Shannon Airport and the national motorway network.
Ballyneety Golf Club seeks to provide high standards of golfing excellence, offering an enjoyable and exhilarating golfing experience. Electric golf buggies and trolleys are available to rent and golf club sets are available for hire on request.
Clubhouse facilities are designed to create a pleasant ambiance and comfort. After the golf, relax in the Vines Grill and Wine Bar and Restaurant which is located in the unusual glass enclosed clubhouse. The restaurant, from its elevated position, commands superb views over the 18th green. The restaurant is open to the public and offers tasty food in a relaxed atmosphere.
The McSweeney Golf Academy provides a full range of services at its state of the art facility. The driving range, chipping and putting greens are situated next to the clubhouse and the facility is a golf centre of excellence, under the stewardship of PGA Head Professional, Donal McSweeney. Ballyneety Golf Club has four resident PGA professionals, Donal Mc Sweeney, head professional, along with teaching professionals Dave Barry, Robert Kelly and Walter Doyle.
