Limerick City and County Council is delighted to announce that Limerick St. Patrick’s Festival 2026 will take place from Friday 13 March to Tuesday 17 March, with a five-day programme of events. The theme for this year’s festival is “Legends of Limerick”, celebrating the people, stories and heritage that define the county.
The Limerick City St. Patrick’s Day Parade will form the centrepiece of the festival, led by Grand Marshal Ava Crean, Ireland’s national women’s marathon champion.
Other key highlights include: the 54th Limerick International Band Championship (15th Mar @ 12pm), Irish National Clown Orchestra (15th Mar @ 1.30pm & 3.30pm), St. Patrick's Festival Block Party (17th Mar @ 2pm approx) and more.
