In 2026, Top 8, who have been organizing hugely successful Hip Hop events for over a decade, are presenting their annual Hip Hop and Street Dance Festival with a weekend of events taking place across Limerick City 26th - 29th March.
In association with Limerick City and County Council festival favourite Top 8 Street Dance Battle returns to Limerick on Saturday 28th March. This powerhouse event will see the freshest street dancers from Ireland and abroad square off to do battle on the dance floor. Having competed in qualifying heats earlier in the day, finalists will flaunt their best moves, from precision poppin’, to gravity-defying breakin’ and hard-hitting Krump, to claim the top spot.
This epic celebration of street dance and Hip Hop culture will be hosted by MCs, with pumping beats from DJs, and feature a mind-blowing showcase by international street dance legends.
