UL Sport in Limerick City is home to the national 50m swimming pool base for the high performance swim unit. The multi purpose four court sports halls have bleacher seating, a 25m diving pool, the national strength and conditioning centre, a fitness studio, an indoor 225m three lane jogging track and a 60m sprint track.

Experience the UL Sport outdoor facilities including the fully floodlit, all weather synthetic grass parks on both the North and South campus. The North campus contains two full size 3G soccer pitches, a full size 3G rugby pitch and a full size 3G GAA pitch. The South campus (Maguires) contains two full size 3G GAA pitches, a full size GAA grass pitch. All pitches are floodlit and marked for soccer. There is also a 400m athletic track, AstroTurf facility and four tennis courts. Visit the UL Sport Boathouse, a unique facility on the River Shannon and home to an indoor powered rowing tank which simulates various weather and water conditions. Attempt The Climbing Wall, one of Ireland’s highest indoor walls at a height of 21m. There is also a bouldering wall, speed wall and moon board.

Visit the Sports Pavilion which contains a reception arena, eight changing rooms all with underfloor heating, two squad rooms and The Pavilion bar and restaurant. The arena prides itself on offering a vast range of facilities and services for everyone, from the complete beginner to the elite athlete. UL Sport also enjoys the role of hosting many international and national competitions.
