Your experience begins at Cloughan Farm, where you will be warmly welcomed with morning tea and scones by your host, Fiona and alongside local guide Kathryn Keenan.

From the farm, a short 3km bus journey brings you into the heart of the village, arriving at the iconic National Famine Bronze Shoes Monument. Here, Kathryn will share the moving story behind the shoes as you trace a few symbolic footsteps along the National Famine Way.
