Hike at night under the light of the moon and stars with Cooley Night Hikes in Carlingford, County Louth. Night walks in the Cooley Mountains can be a magical experience with spectacular views of Dundalk Bay and Carlingford Lough.

Join Cooley Night Hikes for a night walk in the Cooley Mountains in search of beautiful views under the night sky. Walks begin at a pre-arranged meeting point in Mullaghbuoy Parish, Glenmore. The hike is quite gentle, and way marked so it is suitable for all abilities.

The hike up to Barnavave Peak takes approximately 50 minutes. The walk then rises another 150 metres to reach the summit, just beside Maebh's Gap where there will be a light supper made by the chefs of the beautiful Ghan House in Carlingford, using seasonal ingredients. There is a natural seating area at the top where you can sit and enjoy the views.
