The Droichead Arts Centre was founded in 1989 to serve the Drogheda area as a resource for a wide range of activities such as exhibitions, performances and workshops.
Facilities include theatre, gallery, dance floors, meeting rooms and studio space. The Centre organises a full programme of events and workshops including classes in music, dance, speech and drama, and the visual arts. These classes are also taken to community venues outside the Centre.
Visual arts exhibitions, theatre productions, reading and a wide range of concerts are held during the year.
