Monasterboice Inn, in Drogheda, County Louth is a 150 seater restaurant servicing the Dublin to Belfast route for the past 200 years. Serving traditional Irish good wholesome food and specialising in steaks and scampi.

The Monasterboice Inn has been under the ownership of the Donegan family for the past eight generations and a warm welcome ensures the return of customers again and again. Indeed Monasterboice Inn is an important venue for all the different family occasions including christenings, birthdays, small weddings, communions, engagement parties and funerals. When ex-patriots come home they insist on visiting Donegan's before returning.

Monasterboice Inn opens at 9 am everyday serving breakfast, which is available all day long. Lunch is available from 12.30pm to 4.30pm. There is an extensive a la carte menu available from 4.30pm to 9pm all week and available until 10pm on Saturdays. The restaurant specialises in steak and scampi and is very proud to promote local artisan producers.

There are two private meeting/dining rooms, one with a capacity of 50, the Sarsfield room, another, the Conservatory with 90. The Sarsfield room features a LED HD TV, PowerPoint-compatible for business presentations and/or conferences.

Monasterboice Inn has two large private car parks providing ample facility for coach tours, limousines and large family gatherings.
