As well as being a great vantage point for coastal views in northwest Mayo, Fál Mór is a holy place with connections to St. Deirbhile and St. Brendan.
Visitors to Fál Mór will be greeted by Deirbhile’s Twist, a granite boulder sculpture that was created as part of the Tír Sáile Sculpture Trail in North Mayo, Ireland’s largest public arts project.
From here, you can take in panoramic views of Achill Island and the Inis Gé islands. You can also visit nearby St. Deirbhile’s Well and the ruins of St. Deirbhile’s Church.
