Ashford Castle golf course is an Eddie Hackett designed 9-hole, par 35 parkland course, surrounded by magical woodlands with mature trees and bordered by Lough Corrib with its 365 natural islands. It is 2,996yd in length and takes about two hours to play a nine hole round of golf.

Many famous professional golfers have stayed at Ashford Castle and played the course, such as Tom Watson, Nick Faldo, Lee Travino and Byron Nelson, to name only a few. Green fees are complimentary to Ashford Castle residents. Golf clubs, trolleys and buggies are available to rent.
