Take a trip to enchanting Clare Island from Roonagh Quay, near Louisburgh to Clare Island, or arrange sightseeing/diving trips to Inishturk and Achill island with the Clare Island Ferry.

Clare Island Ferry provides a daily passenger service to Clare Island and Inishturk Island all year round. Day trips from Achill to Clare Island, sightseeing, fishing and diving trips may also be arranged.

Clare Island Ferry also provide a twice-weekly cargo service to both islands on board a Ro-Ro ferry, the Clew Bay Queen.

The Pirate Queen & Clew Bay Queen are owned and operated by the O'Grady family, natives of Clare Island, who have been operating the Clare Island Mail Boat service since 1880.

The two vessels are named after the infamous fifteenth/sixteenth century Pirate Queen, Grace O'Malley (Granuaile).
