Taking inspiration from the large Alaskan brown bear featured in The Murmur of Bees exhibition, children will work alongside their parent or guardian and bring their favourite teddy bear to life in their own painting.
Children’s artworks will be exhibited in a pop-up display at the National Museum of Ireland - Turlough Park for Cruinniú na nÓg - the national day celebrating young people and creativity - on Saturday, 6 June 2026.
This workshop will be facilitated by local artists Deirdre Walsh and Cas McCarthy.
Supplies are provided. This is a day-long session with a one hour break. The workshop is suitable for children aged six to eight years with a parent or guardian.
