Mullaghroe Beach, Belmullet is located 10km south of Béal an Mhuirthead Belmullet, in County Mayo. It is a curved, sheltered, sandy shore overlooking Blacksod Bay.

Mullaghroe Beach, Belmullet in County Mayo, is a secluded beach and is an ideal beach for swimming, birdwatching and and water sports. This popular beach is backed by dunes and fields, and lies on the remote Mullet Peninsula, about 10kms south of Belmullet.

The beach is of international ecological importance because of the diverse habitat types to be found in the area. The land surrounding the shore is brackish and salt marshes are present in the sheltered inlets. They provide the feeding and breeding grounds for the local bird population. Mullaghroe Beach, Belmullet is a great place for birdwatching.

There is a small car park and toilets nearby. The beach is not lifeguarded during the bathing season however, lifesaving equipment is provided on the beach.
