The North Mayo Heritage Centre is a family history research centre, organic garden and event space set in the grounds of the Enniscoe Estate. It is enclosed by woodland on the shores of Lough Conn near Crossmolina in County Mayo.

The North Mayo Heritage Centre serves as a genealogy hub for individuals from North Mayo seeking to explore their family history. As a founding member of the Irish Family History Foundation, the centre offers invaluable resources and expertise.

The centre also operates an organic vegetable garden which received organic certification in 1995, making it one of the oldest in the country. As part of Irish Seed Savers, the garden is open for tours which can be booked through the website.

Visitors can purchase produce and seeds from the garden, along with books and gifts from reception. Additionally, detailed information about all services provided by the North Mayo Heritage Centre, including venue hire, are available.

Tips from locals

In the car park look out for the signpost for the Enniscoe Walk, a 3km looped woodland walk with lovely views of Lough Conn.
