Take some time to explore the National Folklife Collection during a dedicated Quiet Hour from 10:00 to 11:00 on Saturday, 30 May 2026.
Museums can be busy and loud and therefore a stressful environment for many people.
We are offering a designated quiet hour to provide a calmer environment for visitors. We are dedicated towards being Autism friendly.
During this quiet hour, background music is reduced or turned off, and lighting in the Galleries are dimmed to create a more soothing atmosphere.
Please bring along any PPE that you want e.g. sunglasses, headphones, etc.
