The Irish History Bookshop is a family owned shop on the Main Street of Cong, County Mayo, next door to Ryan's Hotel. It specialises in books of Irish interest, particularly Irish history books, but also carries a large selection of general interest books dating from the 18th century to the present day.
Visitors can browse the shelves for new, used, out of print and antiquarian books. There is plenty for the casual reader and true gems for the serious collector.
The Irish History Bookshop is happy to place special orders for titles they don’t currently stock, and they also sell books online.
