Experience the joy of crafting with clay and textiles, inspired by a connection to the ancient lands and heritage of the Boyne Valley with Anita Reynolds Art and Design.

Anita Reynolds Art and Design is based in the magnificent Boyne Valley in Ballivor, County

Meath. Anita's work in clay, textile design and batik is inspired by nature, the Irish language, her love of history and her connection to the landscape.

Visitors can experience the joy of creating a piece of art in a setting that is both tranquil and rich in Irish heritage. Hands on experiences draw inspiration from the simplicity of nature and the often unnoticed intricacies, such as the delicate designs on leaves picked from native Irish trees or the details of vintage Irish lace and traditional Irish embroidery.

A love of the Irish language is prevalent in her designs, with a Gaelic printing font from her grandfather’s business used in her work. Workshops take place in Anita’s studio in Ballivor and in the old railway storehouse in Kilmainhamwood, along the Boyne Valley to Lakelands Greenway.

Create a beautiful clay heart imprinted with an Irish word and have it posted to your home address after it is fired and glazed with the Ballivor Tourist Experience: Focal ón Croí or Word from the Heart.
