Headfort Golf Club's Old Course was established in 1928. The old course, formerly part of the Headfort Estate, was developed into an 18 hole course in 1956. Visitors from all over the world enjoy the experience of playing Headfort's old course. According to a national newspaper, the Sunday Independent, Headfort Golf Club's Old Course is potentially the most attractive parkland facility in the country.
