Kilcock Golf Club is ideally situated in Kilcock, County Meath, just off the M4 motorway, and just 20 minutes from the M50 motorway. The parkland course is USGA standard.
Kilcock Golf Club originally started life as a 9-hole golf course. While initial members were mainly drawn from near neighbourhoods, a warm and friendly atmosphere was quickly established and as a result, the membership began to grow. In 1990 land adjacent to the course was purchased and with the expertise of Eddie Hackett, one of the best-known course designers at the time a testing, but fair, 18-hole course was born. In recent times a major remodelling by Eddie Connaughton has taken place, involving the installation of sand based greens and tee boxes, major drainage and an automatic irrigation system. The changes made to some of the key feature holes of the course has resulted in an even greater playing challenge.
The course has many water features and a wide array of challenging bunkers and is a challenge for golfers of all handicaps. The Clubhouse has a warm and welcoming atmosphere with excellent bar and catering facilities.
