Enjoy a fun and affordable day at Red Mountain Open Farm, set in the open countryside of the Boyne Valley near the village of Donore, County Meath, and not far from the entrance of the Newgrange Interpretive Centre.

Just two minutes from Newgrange Interpretive Centre in County Meath, Red Mountain Open Farm is made up of two adjoining working farms. They offer a range of experiences, many of them indoors. Indoor facilities are important given the unpredictable nature of the Irish weather and short days in the winter time. No matter what the weather, there is lots to enjoy.

The farm is a family run mixed farm with tillage, sheep, poultry and horses, set in the open countryside of the Boyne Valley near the village of Donore. At Red Mountain Open Farm you can enjoy the play areas, animals, indoor and outdoor picnic facilities, the fun Bale Maze, the Blue Barrel Express, the Tractor Trailer Ride, pedal tractors and go-karts. There are also horse and carriage rides on offer and country farm walks. Tea, coffee and soft drinks are available and there is ample parking for cars and coaches.
