The South Meath Golf Course in County Meath was designed with wide fairways and beautiful mature trees. The generous greens provide an extra bonus. Trim Castle was the setting for the film 'Braveheart' and is only a short distance away from this very pleasant parkland course.

South Meath Golf Course is located one 1.5km from Trim, in County Meath, on the Longwood Road, and a 30 minute drive from Dublin. It consists of a full 18-hole course with many challenging new holes, offering great golf at affordable prices.

The original layout was designed by Eddie Hackett, one of Ireland's foremost golf course designers. The present 18-hole parkland course layout with a par of 69 has several water features and presents an exciting test for golfers of all abilities. The feature holes include the 7th and 8th, two challenging par 3's that are surrounded by water that require well executed shots. The 16th is also another card defining hole, a 400yrd par 4 requiring a precision approach shot through a tree lined fairway.

Visit the pro golf shop. Lockers, a trolley and club rental service is also available. Green fees and societies are welcome at the South Meath Golf Course.
