The Tullamore Apitherapy Seminar on 14 November 2026 will offer both beekeepers and curious members of the public an insight into the variety of complementary ways bee products can be used in health and wellbeing.

Speaker Amadej Kastelic, a certified Slovenian apitherapist, will demonstrate the use of bee products such as honey, propolis, beeswax, pollen, royal jelly, and bee venom.

There is a strong practical aspect to the day with recipes for ointments, soap and tinctures. He will also discuss more unusual therapies including honey massage.

This event is hosted by Offaly Beekeepers Association and Lake County Beekeeper Association.
