Enjoy a brisk 0.7km loop through leafy County Roscommon woodlands on a trail boasting views of Lough Key’s northern edge. Taking just 35 minutes to complete, this achievable loop covers forest road, track and path through charming Derryvunny Woods.

An easy walk within the woods’ rich Corrigeenroe Marsh, it showcases a diversity of semi-natural woodland, distant Lough Key views and beautiful Roscommon scenery. The loop also passes the source of the tranquil stream that runs through the woodlands’ centre.

Once you’re done, pop to nearby Boyle for a welcome cup of tea or coffee.
