Ideally located in Kilrooskey near Lough Ree on the River Shannon in County Roscommon, the Kelly family have run Roscommon Equestrian Centre since 2003. It has everything you could need for a truly enjoyable riding experience.

Roscommon Equestrian Centre’s professional and friendly staff teach lessons to beginners and advanced riders, from children as young as four all the way to adults. Lessons take place six days a week, from Tuesday to Sunday. They also welcome large groups and schools and are a popular venue for staff days out. Their ponies and horses come in all shapes and sizes so they’re sure to find one to suit you.

Among the many features of the centre are two outdoor arenas and one indoor arena, pony camps for all ages during Easter and summer, lessons for those with special needs, and seasonal show jumping events. Most areas in the centre are wheelchair accessible.

Roscommon Equestrian Centre has a seated viewing area and other facilities include male and female toilets with changing area, showers, lockers, and a disabled toilet with baby changing facilities.

The Tack Store at Roscommon Equestrian Centre offers a wide range of great value brands in one place. From saddlery to clothing, all of your horse, rider, and stable requirements are available under one roof.
