Roscommon International Film Festival returns to Roscommon Arts Centre on 23 and 24 October 2026 for two days celebrating emerging filmmaking and screenwriting talent.

Now in its fourth year, the festival provides a platform for filmmakers from Ireland and around the world, showcasing selected short films across genres including drama, comedy, thriller, horror and documentary. Awards recognise international and Irish talent, with a dedicated category celebrating films with a Roscommon connection.

The festival also brings filmmakers, screenwriters and film lovers together, creating opportunities for networking, conversation and collaboration while celebrating original storytelling on screen.
