Beginners flame-working classes from one to six students. Learn to work with with Murano glass rods and a specialist flameworking torch to produce a number of your own unique glass beads. All materials included.

Graham Reid Design is nestled snugly in a forested nook of Sligo, near to the shores of Lough Gill and the Lake Isle of Innisfree. The flame-working studio is in a 200 year old cottage lovingly renovated by Graham.

Beginners flame-working classes with Graham Reid are two and a half hours and individually tailored from one to six students. You will learn the basics of melting coloured glass rods in a specialist flame-working torch to produce a number of your own unique glass beads.

Cost is €75 per person. All materials are included and you get to keep the beads you make! No special skills or aptitudes are required, and it's a lot of fun. Students need to be over 16 years old.

The flame-working torches at Graham Reid Design use two gasses producing a hot flame and are pleasantly quiet. The studio is equipped with a ventilation system.

The studio is 15 minutes from Sligo town, close to Slish wood and The Lake Isle of Innisfree.
