Take a guided tour of Rosses Point, a small seafaring village in County Sligo. It is famous for its connection to the Yeats family, and the panoramic views of Benbulben and Knocknarea from the many paths and walkways throughout the village.
Join author, broadcaster and historian Kieran Devaney for a short walk through the seafaring and literary heritage of Rosses Point, County Sligo. He will explore the ruins of Elsinore House, the ancestral home of the poet W.B. Yeats. Kieran will show you the strand where Yeats first found inspiration for the faeries in his poem The Stolen Child, and the old Watch House which was painted by the poet's brother Jack B. Yeats.
Tours start from the bar of Yeats Country Hotel. There is no charge for children.
