Streedagh beach has an impressive 3km long sandy beach, with dunes and a lagoon behind with fantastic views over the sea to the mountains of Donegal, and behind to the famous Ben Bulben. There is a long thin sandbar linking Streedagh point to Connor’s island. The Strand is an exposed and reef break that has reasonably consistent surf that makes it a surfers paradise.
