Feel the beat of the drum as Dragon Boats, Kayakers and Rowers approach the shores of the Garavogue River, Sligo. Join in the excitement of the Wakening the Dragon Ceremony. Celebrate life with the beauty and emotion of the Flower Ceremony filling the air with hundreds of colourful petals. Boats disembark up river to Lough Gill for a distance paddle taking in the amazing Sligo scenery and maybe a picnic on the shores of a lake isle.

The day continues onshore with members of the public enjoying free workshops and interactive talks on the growing awareness of Blue Mental health, Citizen Science, Biodiversity, and how to be safe in and around the water with a not to be missed Robby Robot Lifesaver display!! Lots to entertain all ages.
