Fiacri Country House Cookery School is situated in the heart of the Ireland in North County Tipperary on the Laois border. The cookery school is open on Tuesdays and classes run over a five-week period. In addition, one-day courses are run throughout the year at such culinary demanding times as Christmas and Easter. Classes are intimate and interactive, and afterwards the perfect reward is getting to eat it all!
There is something for everyone, whether supremely confident or just plain keen. Participants can learn some simple delicious dishes to impress friends and keep their creative urges satisfied. Whether wanting to ask the Head Chef lots of questions, or just sit back and observe, anyone can enjoy this fantastic day out.
Fiacri Country House is also home to a well-established restaurant that serves seasonal menus. A five course menu is on offer with a wide variety of starters and main courses. The restaurant was the 2004 winner of the Georgina Campbell Feile Bia award. Reservations are necessary.
