Pre-booking essential
Galtee Honey Farm is a family run, fourth generation honey farm, and home to Native Irish Black Honey Bees. They provide hands on beekeeping tours, honey and mead tastings, workshops and artisan beeswax products.

Galtee Honey Farm is a pioneering, family run destination dedicated to conservation of the Native Irish Honey Bee. Set in the Galtee Vee Valley in Glengarra Wood, just 20 minutes from the Rock of Cashel, in County Tipperary, the farm produces award winning raw Irish honey, mead, and beeswax products.

Guided tours gently introduce bee life, conservation and heritage. Depending on the experience, the option to suit up and open a hive, or simply observe and taste honey can also be facilitated. Galtee Honey Farm also provide honey and mead tastings in the interpretive room, seasonal tours and full day workshops which give an immersive, accessible experience celebrating nature, biodiversity and Irish craft. All experiences must be prebooked to avoid disappointment.
