Lorrha Monastic Village, nestled in the most northerly part of County Tipperary, is a hidden gem for all those with an interest in history.

Lorrha Monastic Village offers a journey back in time. In the east of Lorrha Village there are the remains of two 8th century high crosses alongside The Augustinian Priory, St. Ruadhan's Church and St. Ruadhan's Well. At the west end of Lorrha Village stands The Dominican Abbey. Visitors can explore by themselves or book a tour with one of the knowledgeable tour guides, who will bring history to life with tales of monsters, monks, mysteries, murderers, High Kings & Vikings. Visit the Heritage Centre for more information on tours and what to explore and enjoy while in Lorrha.
