The Apple Farm is home to some of the tastiest fruits you can imagine, grown naturally in the soil, and harvested when perfectly ripe, just as nature intended.
The Apple Farm has ready-picked fruits for those on the move, or if the weather is good, then why not pick your own fruit? You can't get fresher than that.
In the autumn, when the plums are finishing, the apples are just maturing. The farm has more than fifty different eating apples, including traditional Irish varieties, harvested almost every day from August until November.
Right through the winter you can see the farm making its juices, natural and sparkling, which takes place right on the farm. And these aren't just any juices, they are award-winners, having collected Bridgestone's, National Fruit Show Awards (UK), and an Irish Food Awards Silver Medal too.
For the food connoisseur who wants more than fruit and juice, the farm shop stocks a small range of additional local produce, including apple tarts, balsamic cider vinegar, locally produced ketchup, apple syrup and our own farm-made cider.
The Apple Farm is open all year round, until 18:00 in winter, and until 20:00 in summer. Call in, take a walk around, try some of the delicious produce, and relax.
