The mission of the Tipperary Excel Centre, in County Tipperary, is to make available a broad, innovative and culturally diverse range of artistic, heritage and live performance experiences, for the communities of Tipperary town and hinterland. It offers communities a place to meet, hold events and promote their work.
The Tipperary Excel Centre provides a diverse programme that is representative of professional artistic work of excellence in all of the arts disciplines, while being inclusive of community based work from schools, groups and individuals.

The centre hosts Tipperary Dance Platform, TDP. The TDP combines the Tipperary Dance Residency, the International Tipperary Dance Festival and a pioneering programme for arts development in a rural environment. The Tipperary Dance Residency is led by the Iseli-Chiodi Dance Company.
The Simon Ryan Theatre is wheelchair friendly with ramped access to the building and easy access to the theatre with wheelchair seating in the front stalls.

Free parking is available in the Market Yard car park adjacent to the Tipperary Excel Centre after 18:00, with a moderate charge for parking here between 08:00 and 18:00.
