Golden to the Rock of Cashel Walk starts at the Bridge in the village of Golden, and as the walk is part of the Tipperary Heritage Way Walk, just follow the signs, look out for ancient ruins and enjoy the wildlife along the banks of the River Suir.

Golden to The Rock of Cashel Walk starts at the Bridge in Golden town. Walk along riverside paths and open countryside, farm land for 6km, enjoy archaeological and historical sites. On this riverside path there are different species of swans that can be seen in the water as the sun glisten. On the final stretch is a long quiet country road until you reach the Rock of Cashel. This walk is suitable for all levels of walkers who can enjoy being at one with nature and discover the wide variety of flora and fauna of the region.

Be aware that some sections at times are overgrown and wet. Riverside hedge row can prevent views of the River Suir.

Note: Always beware of the animals along the trail, as some of the sections are not fence off and some may not be that friendly.
