Tipperary Racecourse is in County Tipperary, home to the world famous Coolmore Stud, which is responsible for producing some of the top racing thoroughbreds ever known. The first meeting of the Tipperary Races was held in March 1848. Racing began on the present site in September 1916, and has gone from strength to strength since.
