Blackwater Valley Opera Festival collaborates with Irish Heritage on the annual Music Bursary for the Irish Heritage Award. Since 2017, the partnership has supported emerging artists, with performances presented in historic houses across the Blackwater Valley.

Salterbridge House hosts a recital by the 2026 Irish Heritage Bursary winners, offering audiences the chance to hear developing voices at an early stage in their careers.
