The Local is a pub situated in the heart of Dungarvan Town in beautiful County Waterford, owned by Helena and Donnchadh Gough. Donnchadh is a well known musician and has toured all over the world with traditional supergroup "Danú".

The Local hosts the best in music sessions and concerts year round. Donnchadh plays both bodhran and Uilleann Pipes. Both Helena and Donnchadh are great GAA sport supporters, especially of Waterford's Hurling team who frequent the pub regularly.

The pub has a great lunch menu available every day. Whether you're looking to hear great music, drink a great pint, eat great food or chat about the latest championship hurling match, call in and they will be delighted to welcome you.
