Tramore surf school, on the south east coast of Ireland, offers surf lessons, stand-up paddle boarding and kite surfing lessons. Check the website for booking details.

Learning to surf with Tramore Surf School in County Waterford is lots of fun. Private, individual and group lessons are all on offer and hot showers are always guaranteed. Tramore Surf School is ISA (Irish Surfing Association) approved. There is always someone on hand to offer advice on your surfboard, wetsuit or bodyboard purchase at our shop. All equipment is available for rent.

Surf lessons for kids and adults run every day during July and August at 2pm, Saturdays and Sundays during the rest of the year at 2pm.

Public Surf Lessons last around two hours in total. Ninety minutes are spent in the water. Before entering the water you will be taught on the ground about catching waves, how to get to your feet in only a couple of easy steps and about ocean safety. Once in the water instructors will help you to stand.

Kids and teens surf camps run Monday to Friday for June, July and August plus Monday to Friday over the Easter holidays.

Adult surf camps run Friday, Saturday and Sunday during July and August.

New this summer is kid’s fun fit surf from 6pm to 8pm every evening for children aged eight years old and up, running July and August, seven days a week.
