Waterford Greenway Bike Hire
Dungarvan, Co. Waterford
Waterford Greenway Bike Hire has three depots along the Dungarvan, Kilmacthomas and Waterford route. Bikes can be picked up at any shop, with free return shuttle service. Large groups, school tours, corporate events and parties are welcome.

The Waterford Greenway is 46km long from Dungarvan to Waterford. Cycling at a leisurely pace this journey will take approximately five hours to complete, allowing for rest breaks.

Visitors can stop halfway for lunch in Kilmacthomas Village. There are a number of suitable rest points along the route which include O’Mahoney’s pub in Durrow, Mount Congreve House and Gardens, Kilmeaden, and Waterford and Suir Valley Railway.

During the summer months there are various pop-up shops along the route.

Depots open daily from 09:00 to 18:00. Booking in advance is advisable in order to arrange your pick-up location, bike and equipment requirements.

Customers can decide during their cycle where to drop off their bikes. There are five shuttle buses which leave hourly from each Depot. The Shuttle Bus is available to customers that hire bikes from Waterford Greenway Bike Hire. The Shuttle Bus can only be booked after bikes are dropped off; it cannot be booked in advance. Free car parking is available at all three hubs.

The Kilmacthomas store is located in the visitor centre, oppsite the famine workhouse. The Waterford City store is located on Hanover street.
