The Waterford Greenway is a walking and cycle route built on the disused Waterford to Dungarvan Railway, which was originally constructed in the 1870s and ceased use in the 1960s. You can ride through history, from the Viking and Norman sites to the War of Independence. On the Greenway you can view it all. You cycle through some stunning pieces of civil engineering, tall viaducts, curved viaducts, tunnels and bridges. Experience the natural wonders of a meandering riverbank, mountain views and the spectacular Waterford coastline.
If you are exploring the Waterford Greenway and encounter a problem while cycling, a puncture, a broken chain or just need other assistance on the Greenway, Wild Rover Bikes offers a mobile repair service to get you on the move again.
Should your group need a guide to lead you, or a bike mechanic to follow you, Wild Rover Bikes can also accompany you on your journey.
