It’s that time of year again at the Hill of Uisneach when they begin to build for the Bealtaine Fire Festival for 2026! Only this time they are making a weekend of it and yes there is finally camping available!

At the Hill of Uisneach on the 9th & 10th May 2026, they are hosting their Bealtaine Fire Festival. An unforgettable celebration of heritage, community and creativity. Set in the Sacred Centre of Ireland – the Hill of Uisneach – this event brings ancient traditions that we can all resonates with. With a rich tapestry of activities, performances and visual delights, the Bealtaine Fire Festival is a day to immerse yourself in the magic of the season and connect with Ireland’s storied past as we welcome-in the Summer together.

As dusk falls, the festival culminates in a spectacular and dramatic finale. The crowd ascends to the Summit together, where the Great Fire is lit—a breathtaking moment as its flames stretch high into the sky,
