Come to celebrate the Summer Solstice at the Hill of Uisneach this year on Sunday, 21st June from 19:30 start in the carpark and head up the Hill from there, finishing up a little after 22:30.

Since prehistory, the Summer Solstice has been seen as a significant time of year, being marked by rituals and gatherings. The Hill of Uisneach, with its elevation and clear views of over more than twenty counties, was and still remains the perfect landscape to celebrate the Solstice and the energy it brings.

Immerse yourself in this sacred landscape, where time will stand still and connections made.

Listen to bards tell the stories of our ancestors. Some musical accompaniment to embrace you as the sun bows her head on the longest day of the year.

Become one with this sacred landscape as it comes alive as we weave our way through the myths, legends and local lore as they breathe life back into the past.
