'Healthy Seas, Healthy Seals'

Mission Statement:

Seal Rescue Ireland is a charity that works around the clock to rescue, rehabilitate and release seal pups found sick, injured or orphaned across the coast of Ireland. As the only seal rescue centre in the Republic of Ireland, they respond to reports nationwide and aim to rehabilitate the pups back to full health so they can be returned to the wild. SRI promotes ocean conservation and sustainability through education, community outreach and research programmes, in order to protect our marine environment and all life within.

Visit Seal Rescue Ireland

Come visit Seal Rescue Ireland (SRI) for a unique learning experience! SRI’s Visitor Centre, located in Courtown, Co Wexford, invites visitors to come meet seal pups while they’re on their road to recovery, take a tour, learn their stories, and be inspired to join the efforts in protecting seals in the wild! Come check out the gift shop, adopt your favourite seal, and make sure to take the time to explore the beautiful surrounding Courtown Woods Walking Trails and scenic coastline.

By booking an experience you are supporting SRI’s life saving work, while getting the amazing opportunity to view these marine mammal patients up close, and learn how to protect them in the wild. Please show your support for Ireland’s marine life by going to visit the seals and learning how to get involved!

SRI offer one-hour “Seal Feed and Enrichment Experiences” three times per day, seven days a week.

Participants must book in advance and are limited to six per group (age restrictions apply), see website for booking.
