Founded in 1997, The Potter's Yard, Duncormick, County Wexford, became home to Patricia Howard and her place of work as a potter. Patricia’s practice has, from her early days in Cork City in the 1970s, embraced the idea of applied craftsmanship. That means sharing one’s skills and creativity with the community of neighbours, local schools and visitors to the studio.

The Potter's Yard – Patricia Howard Pottery provides popular pop up classes for adults. Booking is essential.

Patricia’s pottery is designed, hand thrown and kiln fired in her spacious studio. It’s for sale in her studio shop and online. Selected crafts from professional Irish makers are also available for sale including The Potter’s Yard – Patricia Howard Pottery's very own lines of decorative solid candles made with locally sourced beeswax.

Details of all the activities at The Potter’s yard – Patricia Howard Pottery, both workshops and pottery, can found on her website. Booking is essential.
