The Woodturning Studio is owned by the renowned woodturner Robert O`Connor, who offers classes for all ages and levels of experience. You will find the studio and shop just off Main Street in Gorey, County Wexford.

The Woodturning Studio is just off Main Street in the town of Gorey, where you will see an abundance of lovely shops, restaurants and hotels.

Award winning Robert O’Connor designs and creates unique Irish wooden gifts, home accessories, functional and gallery pieces from hand selected local timber. Shop for bowls, chopping boards, boxes, flutes, whistles and more. He also accepts private and corporate commissions. Each piece of wood is selected for its natural grain and character and is then planed, turned to perfection, and finished to enhance its natural beauty. Come meet the maker and see the real art of woodturning.

The Woodturning Studio provides many classes taught by Robert, who is a member of the Craft Council of Ireland and the Wexford Craft Trail. Along with the popular night classes, Robert also gives one to one tuition. All ages and levels are catered for. Telephone or check the website for more information on dates and times.

Learn a new skill and discover a hidden talent for woodturning.
