“Ethno” is a music exchange program from Jeunesse Musicales International and exists in over thirty countries around the world. The very first Ethno Ireland took place in Lough Dan Co. Wicklow in August 2025 and was resounding success.
This year the project is back with another batch of young musicians aged between 16-30 who will come to Roundwood to learn and share traditional music from their respective countries and regions in a peer-to-peer exchange. After one week of immersive workshops the group will perform a final concert showcasing traditional music from around the world as a one-off ephemeral youth folk orchestra. An incredible world music journey not to be missed!
